Problem
Detector intermittently enters alarm
without reason.
Battery has been charging for 6 hours.
Charging indicator on LCD shows the
battery is still charging.
Battery indicator does not display when
charging.
Pump is not operating.
Features and options not operating as
expected.

Possible Cause
Ambient gas levels are near alarm
setpoint or the sensor is exposed to a
puff of the target gas
Alarms are set incorrectly
Sensor(s) requires calibration
Missing or faulty sensor(s)
Battery is trickle charging
Battery is depleted below normal
levels
Diffusion cap is off or not attached
correctly.
There is a blockage in the tubing.
Particulate and/or moisture filter requires
replacement
Changes in Fleet Manager II
Solution
Detector is operating normally. Use caution in
suspect areas. Check maximum gas exposure
reading.
Reset the alarm setpoints. Refer to
Gas Alarm
Setpoints.
Calibrate the sensor(s). Refer to Calibration.
Replace the sensor(s). Refer to
Alarm
Setpoints.
Battery is fully charged and is ready for
operation.
Charge the battery for 8 hours. If the battery
indicator does not light after charging, contact
BW Technologies by
Honeywell.
Attach diffusion cap. Ensure seal is tight.
Clear the blockage.
Replace the filter(s).
Replacing the Pump Fil-
ters.
Verify that the settings in Fleet Manager II are
correct.
