    v First of all, mow your lawn to the length you require. We particularly recommend this if the grass has grown tall (e.g. while you were away on holiday). Recommendation: the shorter you mow your lawn, the easier it is to aerate, thus lessening the strain on the Electric Lawn Rake and increasing the lifetime of the aerator cylinder.

    5. Operation Connecting extension cable: 1. Push connector of extension cable on to the plug 2. Draw a loop of the extension cable through the cable strain relief device 1 and suspend in position 2. This prevents inadvertent disconnection of the plug and socket connection.

    Mow the lawn before using the Electric Lawn Rake. In the event of other faults please contact GARDENA Service. Repairs should only be carried out by GARDENA service centres or dealers authorised by GARDENA. 8. Storage To put into storage: To save space the Electric Lawn Rake can be folded up by releasing the wing nuts.
