Troubleshooting
Problem
1. LED in Junction
Box is off (NOT
GREEN or RED)
2. LED in Junction
Box stays RED

Possible Cause
110vac not being supplied
to Junction Box -
110vac to Junction Box is
good, but power supplied
to Outdoor Unit is not
good.
Note - In normal operation
when plugging 110vac to
Junction Box, Junction
Box LED will be RED for
1-2 seconds then switch to
GREEN.
Solution
check connections
At the Junction Box Terminal Board Verify That the
wire color code matches the legend on the box and
that functionally Pin Outs are:
Pin 1 Orange/white---Not used
Pin 2 Orange---Tip
Pin 3 Green/white---Ring
Pin 4 Blue---+48VDC
Pin 5 Blue/white +48 VDC
Pin 6 Green---Not used
Pin 7 Brown/white--- 48 VDC Return/gnd
Pin 8 Brown--- 48 VDC Return/gnd
Go up the pole and remove the dome cover using a
T25 Torx driver. Verify Same Color Code and
Pinout functionality as above. Connections (color
vs. terminal number) must be identical at both
ends.
If the 48 VDC is missing from either Pin 4 or 5 to
Pins 7 or 8 then there is a open in the Cat 5/6 cable
between the top and bottom Terminal Boards. This
must be repaired prior to further checkout.
