Installation Guide for MRI-1000
2. Route CAT-5 Interconnecting Cable through
the same gray Gland Nut in side of Junction
box. (gray cable in the picture)
3. Note in the Junction Box lid the Serial
Number and Phone Number of the Rooftop
Box connected
4. Tighten Gland Nut after modem and CAT-5
cables are installed.
5. Mount Junction Box with 4 bolts on bottom of
box.
6. Route modem cable from Meter thru the
gray Gland Nut in side of Junction Box. Plug
RJ-11/12 modem connector into RJ-12 jack
inside the Junction Box (black cable on
right in the picture)
Route CAT-5/6 Interconnecting Cable
through the same gray Gland Nut in side of
Junction box. (gray cable in the picture)
Attach all 8 wires of CAT-5/6 connecting
cable to the proper terminals in the Junction
Box. Match colors to terminals as recorded
on the lid of the Junction Box.
Note in the Junction Box lid the Serial
Number and Phone Number of the Outdoor
Unit connected.
Tighten Gland Nut after modem and CAT-5/6
cables are installed.
Plug power cable into Junction Box. (Black
cable on left in the picture) Power cable will
be connected to "wall power" (110vac, 60hz)
as the first step of System Checkout.
