4.2.5 DDNS

Configuration of DDNS for remote access via the internet. DDNS (Dynamic DNS) is a service that converts
internet domain names to IP addresses. Thus, you will not have to know the IP address to connect with
the IP camera, but you can always use a static URL.
Enable/disable the IP camera's built-in
DDNS (built-in recommended).
Connection status.
Choose a third party DDNS server from
the list.
Input password
Click [Save] to save the settings.
[Built-in DDNS link] is the URL you should input into the browser address field to
access the IP camera from an external network.
URL for the camera's built in DDNS. Input
this URL to the browser to access the
camera.
If you wish to use a third party DDNS
server, you can enable that here (not
recommended).
Input username
Input domain name
Click [Refresh] to update info.
