4 Permanent settings in pro-
gramming mode
Touch the Menu symbol t for about 2 seconds to
view the list of maintenance programmes and
switch to programming mode. The following
settings can be made:

Deactivate start screen
U
Water hardness
U
Units
U
Automatic switch-off
U
Language
You can also add your four favourite products to
the start screen (see next chapter).

Replacing products on the start screen

You have the option of replacing the four products
on the start screen with your personal favourites.
Example: Proceed as follows to replace
macchiato' on the start screen with
Macchiato Doppio'.
Precondition: The start screen is displayed.
T Touch ' ^ ' for about 2 seconds until
which product?' appears in the bottom right.
T Touch 'Latte macchiato'.
The product selector view is launched.
T Move your finger from left to right (or vice
versa) across the touchscreen display until
'Latte Macchiato Doppio'
T Touch 'Save'.
'Saved' appears briefly on the display.

Deactivating the start screen

You can deactivate the start screen so that the
product selector view is displayed as standard.

Setting the water hardness

E If you are using the CLARIS Blue filter
cartridge and have activated it, it is not
possible to set the water hardness.
The harder the water is, the more frequently the
JURA needs to be descaled. It is therefore impor-
tant to set the water hardness accurately.
The water hardness can be adjusted on a continu-
ous scale between 1 °dH and 30 °dH.
Precondition: The start screen is displayed.
T Touch the Menu symbol t for about
2 seconds.
T Touch ' > ' (bottom right).

hardness' is displayed.
