Only use the child restraint system (A) for children in weight

class I from 9 kg to 18 kg.
The belt may never be loosely applied. Forces during an accident
!
are many times greater than with a taut belt. Ensure the correct
position of the vehicle belt latch.
Never leave your child unattended in the child restraint
!
system (A).
Do not place heavy objects on the rear shelf which could become
!
dangerous projectiles in the event of an accident.
Even when transporting the child restraint system (A) in your
!
carunoccupied, always secure it in the prescribed fashion with
yourvehicle's three-point restraint (Section 7) or with the k-fix
connectors(D) to the ISOFIX anchor points of the vehicle (Sec-
tion 6). In this casethe impact shield has to be stored in the
footwell or in the boot.
Protect the child restraint system (A) from direct sunlight,
!
which could heat it up to an unpleasant temperature.
It is not permitted to make any modifications to the child
!
restraint system (A). Doing so nullifies or impairs its effective-
ness in protection. If difficulties arise, please consult your dealer
or the manufacturer.
The child restraint system (A) may only be used in positions
!
with 3-point vehicle seat belts in accordance with ECE 16 or
comparable standards.
Ensure that the child restraint system (A) has been installed in
!
the vehicle accordance with these instructions.
