Grounding Instructions This machine must be grounded. If it should malfunction or break down, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This machine is equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and grounding plug. They will help you to get the best performance from this professional quality vacuum cleaner and to maintain it in optimum condition. OPERATING PROCEDURES MAINTENANCE To change the paper bag: 1. Remove vacuum hose from top of unit (See Figure 2). 2. Release the two latches and lift off lid (See Figure 3). 3. - Page 9 OPERATING PROCEDURES MAINTENANCE To change or clean the exhaust filter: 1. Unplug the vacuum cleaner. 2. Detach the exhaust filter holder from the bottom of the unit (See Figure 8). DO NOT THROW AWAY THE FILTER HOLDER. 3. Remove the exhaust filter from the plastic holder and shake or brush dirt from filter (See Figure 8). 4.
