Cut: Cut out a part of an existing recording.
To cut out a part of an existing recording:

In playback mode, press the Menu button
times to select Cut.

Press the Focus button to mark the beginning of the
part to be cut out.

Press the Play/Pause button to mark the end of the
part to be cut out.
X The marked sequence is removed from the
existing recording.

Delete files

You can delete individual files or all files stored in the
selected folder.

In stop mode, press the Delete button on the right
side of your device.

Use the Volume up or Volume down button to select
if you only want to delete the current file or all files in
the current folder.

Press the Menu button

Lock files

Lock important recordings and prevent them from being
accidentally deleted.
To lock a file:

Select your desired file.

In stop mode, press the Focus button.

Press the Menu button to select Protect the file.

Press the Menu button to select Lock.
X The selected file is locked and can't be deleted
anymore.
To unlock a file:

Select your desired file.
2
In stop mode, press the Focus button.

Press the Menu button

Use the Volume down button to scroll to Unlock.

Press the Menu button
X The selected file is unlocked and can be deleted
again.
