Note
The remote control of the unit employs
command signals in common with other
Aiwa DVD products.
Thus, depending on the button, other Aiwa
DVD products may respond.
Tip
You can enable the alternative functions of
the shaded buttons (to control a TV) by
holding the TV button down. Descriptions
in italic refer to alternative functions.
A Turns the TV on and off.
B Switches the item displayed on
the front panel display.
C Changes the input mode of the
TV.
D Selects the items of settings.
TV: Selects channel numbers.*
E Plays a disc.
F ./> : Press to go to the
next chapter or track or to go

G m/M (SCAN) : Locate a

H Displays the title menu on the
TV screen.
MP3/JPEG: Selects albums.
I Selects and executes the items
or settings.
J Selects TV functions of the
buttons.
K Press to store a preset station.
L Displays the setup display on
the TV screen to set or adjust
the items.
M Changes the angles when
playing a DVD.
N Displays the "SUBTITLE"
menu in the Control Menu
display.
O Makes sound clear at low
volume.
P Selects Karaoke mode.
Q Adjust the microphone volume.
R Adjust the echo volume.
S Turns on and off the power of
the system.
T Press to return to the
Continuous play, etc.
U Mutes the sound.
V Disc: Displays the "REPEAT"
display on the TV screen.
Radio: Switches monaural or
stereo of FM stereo reception.
W Selects AM or FM band.
X Selects the component you
want to use.
Y Displays the Control Menu
display on the TV screen to set
or adjust the items.
Z Executes the items or settings.
TV : Press after selecting a
channel number.
wj Adjust the SYSTEM volume.
TV : Adjust the TV volume.
wk Stops playing a disc.
wl Pauses playing a disc.
e; Displays the DVD menu on the
TV screen.
MP3/JPEG: Selects albums.
ea Press to return to the previously
selected screen, etc.
es Changes the brightness of the
front panel display by three
steps.
ed Sets the system to turn off at a
preset time.
ef Selects program or shuffle play
mode.
eg Changes the sound while
playing a DVD or VIDEO CD.
eh Bass sound is effectively
reinforced.
ej Press to change "A.F.D.
AUTO" directly.
ek Selects the sound field.
el Adjust the pitch of music.
* Depending on the TV manufactures,
the following method works. For
double-digit number, press -/-- first and
then number. (For example, for
channel 25, press -/--, then 2 and 5.)
