CAUTION
When starting, idle speed adjuster should be
adjusted not to move the blades.
When there is some trouble with the carburettor,
contact your dealer.

ADJUSTING CARBURETTOR

(As Required)
Every unit is test run at the factory and the carburettor is
fine tuned for maximum performance.
Before adjusting carburettor, clean or replace air filter,
T : Idle speed adjuster start engine and run several minutes to bring it to operating
temperature.
1. Idle Speed Adjustment.
2. Accelerate to full throttle for 2 to 3 seconds to clear

3. Carefully remove the recoil starter housing and

2. Clean deposits from the silencer and the exhaust

WHEN CARBURETTOR ADJUSTMENT IS
COMPLETED, BLADES SHOULD NOT MOVE AT
IDLE, OTHERWISE SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY

Start engine and turn idle speed adjustment screw
clockwise until the blades begin to move, then turn
the screw anticlockwise until the blades stop
moving. Turn screw anticlockwise an additional 1/2
turn.
