3 OPERATION
• ADDING NEW DEFAULT MESSAGE: use the
or actual value message to be added to the default message queue and follow the steps shown
below. When selecting a setpoint message for display as a default, do not modify the value using
the VALUE /
instead of selecting a default message

If 5 default messages are already selected the first message is erased and the new message is
added to the end of the queue.
• DELETING A DEFAULT MESSAGE: Use the
message to be erased. If default messages are not known, wait until the 239 starts to display
them and then write them down. If no default messages have been programmed, the 239 will
remain on the current message and the display will dim to the level assigned in setpoint 6

point or actual value message to be deleted from the default message queue and follow the

Each 239 is pre-programmed with five default messages as shown below. Note, each time the fac-
tory setpoints are reloaded the user programmed default messages are overwritten with these mes-
