3. Introduction Thank you for selecting the FLIR MR60 Moisture Meter Pro. The FLIR MR60 Moisture Meter Pro is an easy-to-use pin and pinless moisture meter with advanced functionality to meet all your professional measurement needs. An integrated pinless sensor and an external pin probe (MR02) provide the flexibility to take either destructive or non-destructive measurements. -

Notes on External Pin Probe Moisture measurements The MR60 will display accurate external pin probe readings in the 7% to 30% range, depending on the tested material. Moisture Content readings below 6% will display as 0% for all materials and the maximum specified range is dependent on the fiber saturation point for specific species. -

My Flir MR60 is powering up but other than a blue line at the top and a blue line at the bottom of the screen, it is not operating. It will then power off after a min.
If the FLIR MR60 powers up but only shows blue lines on the screen and then turns off after a minute, the issue could be related to a low battery. The manual states that if the battery voltage is low, the meter may not function properly. Charging the battery fully before use is recommended. If the problem persists after charging, a firmware issue may also be a possibility, in which case updating the firmware could help resolve the issue.
