The COMfortel 1500 and COMfortel 2500 are system telephones. System telephones are intended exclusively for connecting to an internal S port of the following PBX units from Auerswald: COMpact 2204 USB, COMpact 2206 USB, COMpact 4406 DSL, COMpact 4410 USB, COMpact 5010 VoIP, COMpact 5020 VoIP, COMmander Basic (19"), COMmander...
(headsets with a DHSG interface, e.g. from GN or Plantronics). The COMfortel 1500 supports the operation of cable-connected headsets. The connection to the COMfortel 1500 is made to the receiver jack instead of to the receiver.
Possible Number of System Telephones on Auerswald PBXs Important: The power consumption of the terminals on the internal S ports on an Auerswald PBX may not exceed the listed values in the fol- lowing table. If you would like to connect more than the number of system telephones stated here, you must operate the additional COMfortel 2500s with the wall-mounted COMfortel XT-PS power supply (type number 809).

Preparation Insert the larger plug (RJ-11) on the module connection cable enclosed into the jack marked with tension module. Remove the bridge plug from the jack marked with telephone.
