Channel Banks Setup Troubleshooting

Symptom
Channel is blanked in all
channel banks.
"Inactive TV" message
appears and then TV turns
OFF.
Channel found during Auto
Tuning does not tune in with
Channel Up/Down.
When BANK on Installer
Remote is pressed, TV
shows Input List Menu.

Possible Cause
Blanking a channel in one channel bank
will make it blank in all channel banks.
TV is set up to display "Inactive TV"
message if all channels are deleted from
Channel Bank 4.
Channel was deleted in currently selected
channel bank.
Installer Menu item 027 HOSPITAL MODE
is set to 0.
Possible Solution
Modify the channel attribute(s), if desired, using the FTG
Channel Map Editor in the FTG File Manager. See also
"FTG Channel Map Editor" overview on page 61. Restore
normal operation by unchecking the "Blank Video"
checkbox for the channel. Note that normal operation
will be restored to the channel in all channel banks.
Select another channel bank (1, 2, or 3) to return TV to
normal operation.
Premium channels may only be available on another
channel bank. Modify the channel bank allocation(s) for
the channel, if desired, using the FTG Channel Map
Editor in the FTG File Manager. See also "FTG Channel
Map Editor" overview on page 61.
Set item 027 to appropriate setting for channel banks to
appear with CH. BANK key presses.
