Caution
CAUTION
If the scanning surface of the reading unit gets dirty from ink, adhesives, or
fingerprints, device failure or reading error may occur. Clean the device
regularly (before operation) and whenever a read error occurs. If the error
persists after cleaning, contact the service personnel. Perforated sheets
produce a lot of dust so frequent cleaning is required.

2. Operation
① Open the Main Cover
② Clean dirt on the surface of the
Cover Sheet (surface) and the
Lower Mirror (surface) with
gauze.
③
If the inside of the Cover Sheet
(surface) or inside of the device is
dirty, remove the cover by
following the procedure shown in
the next page.
