WARNINGS 1.3.1 POWER Check mains rating before plugging the power unit in. Do not pull the cable to unplug the device. Switch the device off before unplugging power unit. This operation must not be performed when the NVR is recording, playing or from the configuration menu.
PC correspond to a “unicast” type connection (TCP, RTP,UDP etc). The NVR is capable of supporting up to 3 “unicast” connections, connected in TCP, RTP, UDP. MOUSE OPERATION Except using buttons of front panel or remote controller, you also can use mouse to perform system operation. NVR BOOT UP NVR SYSTEM INITIALIZATION After connecting the power cable of NVR to wall outlet and pressing the power button, you will enter into the NVR system initializing screen shown as Picture. Note: The illustration in the user manual may not be the same as the menu interface in your monitor.

In order to set IP Camera: Select the + key in order to add IP Camera, as shown in picture below. Select Search in order to find IP cameras in the Network. Select the Device from the list. The devices present on the list are supported by Device Search Tool and are detected from the NVR.
NVR MENU POP-UP MENU After finishing system initialization, click right key of mouse on preview interface or slide the mouse to the bottom of screen to enter into Pop-up Menu. Now you could perform parameter setting and operate on Main Menu, Multi-Pics, Auto Cruise, Record Search, Sequence, Volume setting and Stream switching, shown as Picture below.

NVR MAIN MENU DISPLAY 3.4.1 IP CAMERA Go to“Main Menu”→“Display”→“IP Camera” to enter into the interface shown as Picture below. It is possible to select the function [Auto Assign Channels] in order to quick add the IP Camera connected to LAN or select [Add All] or [User Defined Add] in order to add manually the IP camera connected to LAN.
3.4.2 RTSP FUNCTION The RTSP is used to view the video Main Streams/Sub Streams of an IP camera connected to the NVR on a web page of the PC or on the local monitor, through the RTSP port. This is advantageous for managing the live stream of an IP ONVIF camera connected to the NVR.
3.4.3 IP CAMERA SETUP Go to“Main Menu”→“Display”→“IPC Setup” to enter into the interface shown as Picture below. Channel: Select channel number. Show Name: Display the channel name. Show Time: Tick the checkbox to display time. Channel Name: Name marked on IPC ...
3.4.5 IMAGE CONTROL Select "Menu” → "Display" → "Image Control" as shown in the figure. Channel: this is used to select the channel number. IrCut Mode: there are four available modes: GPIO Auto, Colour, B/W and Video Mode. ...
RECORD 3.5.1 REC PARAMETERS Go to“Main Menu”→“Record”→“REC Param” to enter into the interface shown as Picture below. Channel: Set the desired channel in the drop- down menu Record: record status(Enable/Disable) of each channel. Stream Mode: Select Mainstream Substream. PreRecord: “Enable” status supports pre- record for motion detection record or I/O trigger record.
SEARCH 3.6.1 RECORD SEARCH Go to “Main Menu”→“Record Search”→“Record Search” to enter into the interface shown as Picture below. Channel:Type:Start Time/End Time:Playback Channel:Playback:Playback interface: Time Axis setup, file clip and zoom in/out The NVR supports the processing control bar function when playing back record files Time Axis zoom: Default value is 24hours.
Record clip and backup function and playback zoom in/out function. Clip and backup: When it is under single channel playback, the [ ] icon will appear in the Play Control bar shown as Picture above. Click the icon to start video clip function, click the icon again to end the function and pop up the dialog shown as Picture above.
If you want to back up with USB, select USB and click OK to start processing and you may see the backup progress shown as Picture above. After backup finishes, message Backup Finishes will appear at down-right coner. If the file is backed up with format of .264. It can be played back by NVRClient player in the attached with NVR(the player will be automatically installed during installing NVRClient.).

NETWORK 3.7.1 NETWORK Go to“Main Menu”→“Network” to enter into the interface shown as Picture below. Select a kind of network connection (PPPOE, DHCP,Static) and set Port, then user may remotely control the monitoring, recording, playback or backup of NVR through network, as shown in Picture below. Take DHCP as an example.
3.7.3 E-MAIL Go to“Main Menu”→“ Network”→“Email” to enter into the menu interface. Receive or Send NVR alarm Email and set parameters like Email address, SSL, Email Enable, Interval and Email Schedule(see piture below). The related parameter setting should be consistent with NVR local setting. Refer to Pictures below.
You can apply a DDNS Account different from URMETDDNS for free at the web www.3322.org, www.changeip.com www.no-ip.com or DDNS Account for payment at the web www.dyndns.org. You can register on DDNS Service website and get a domain name, user name, and password. ...
Urmet DDNS Setup Select the DDNS submenu in the NVR network menu. A page like the following will appear: IMPORTANT NOTE: Before to get Urmet DDNS ID it is mandatory to enable the user and password (refer to 3.10.4 Users Section).
It is possible to connect through network cable from switch PoE port to one of 8/16 PoE ports of NVR Models. It is possible to connect up to 16 PoE IP cameras for Ref. 1093/916HP and up to 32 PoE IP Cameras for Ref.
ALARM 3.8.1 MOTION Go to “Main Menu”→ “Alarm” → “Motion” to enter into the interface shown as picture below. Channel: allow you enable/disable the motion function for any channel. Sensitivity: allow you to set sensitivity level of motion detection from higher to low with 8 being the most sensitive.
Record Channel: When object motion is detected, the record channel setting will be activated. Copy: allow you copy current channel parameters to any other channel or all channels. 3.8.2 ALARM Go to“Main Menu”→“Alarm”→“Alarm”to enter into the interface shown as Picture below. ...
DEVICE 3.9.1 Go to “Main Menu”→“Device”→“HDD” to enter into the interface shown as Picture below. When NVR is connected to a HDD, the system will automatically detect if HDD is normal or not; If HDD need to be formatted, status will be shown as “Not formatted”.
3.10 SYSTEM 3.10.1 GENERAL Go to“Main Menu”→“System”→“General” to enter into the interface shown as Picture below. User may set Date, Time, Date Format, Time Format, Language, Video Format, Menu Timeout Show Wizard in this page. 3.10.2 Go to“Main Menu”→“System”→“DST” to enter into the interface shown as Picture below. Enter into the interface shown as Picture below to set DST, Time Offset, Start Time and End Time.
3.10.4 USERS Go to“Main Menu”→“System”→“Users”to enter into the User interface shown as Picture below. It supports up to seven users, including one administrator and six users. Click [Edit] button to enter into the [User Edit] interface to input user name and password, as shown in Picture below. User Name consists of 8 characters and password is composed by number 0-9 with max length of 8 numbers Note:...
3.10.6 CHANNEL INFO Go to“Main Menu”→“System”→“Channel Info” as shown in Picture below. User may view the information of various connected IPC, including state, mainstream, substream, motion detection, privacy zone, cruise, etc. 3.11 ADVANCED 3.11.1 MAINTAIN Go to“Main Menu”→“Advanced”→ “Maintain” to enter into the interface shown as Picture below. ...
3.11.2 EVENTS Go to“Main Menu”→“Advance”→ “Events” to enter into the interface shown as Picture below. Event Type: Support three abnormal types: Disk Full, Disk Error and Video Loss. Enable: Active alarms for abnormal situations. Alarm Out: Enable or disable alarms ...
Note: Up to 254 pre-sets per one camera can be stored. However, actual preset quantity differs depending on PTZ performance. 3.13 MENU LOCK In consideration of system safety, user may click the icon on the toolbar when he leaves away from NVR and the system interface will be locked.
WEB APPLICATION MANAGER ACTIVEX CONTROL DOWNLOAD AND INSTALLATION Open your web browser and input the IP address of NVR, such as: http://192.168.1.168 . If your computer is connected to internet, it will download and install “ActiveX” plug-in automatically. If your computer system is Windows Vista or Windows 7, you may need to setup the user authority for remote control, or you may be unable to backup or record.
WEB INTERFACE NVR ACCESSING VIA IP ADDRESS, URL OR URMET DDNS ACCOUNT Follow the instructions for configuring and accessing the web pages of the device on Internet Explorer. The web can be accessed in three ways: Direct access via LAN: start Internet Explorer and enter the IP address of the NVR and the HTTP port of the NVR on the address bar as follows: http://IP Address:HTTP Port (e.g.
4.3.1 MENU BAR Menu Bar: Live, Replay, Configuration, Local Setting and Logout 4.3.2 LIVE DISPLAY Log in the Web Application Manager, system will be defaulted to enter into <Live> interface shown as Picture below. You can click [Play] button to Open/close live images, on-spot record, capture, and many live display modes. 4.3.4 PTZ CONTROL PTZ moving Direction control: allow you control PTZ camera’s direction. And the middle button is called [Auto-cruise] button. PTZ speed control bar : Iris, Focus and Zoom control : Preset setting (+)/clear(-) call (arrow); Start cruise (arrow) /stop cruise (square) Note: CALL 95 is used to enter in the OSD Manu of a speedome.
4.4.1 RECORD SEARCH Record playback procedure Firstly, select the date you want to check and select 4 channels. Any record files in current channel at current date will be displayed in the status bar of the interface. Secondly, select record type (Normal record, Alarm record and All) and channels, and then click “ ”and time axis panel will display specific time quantum, as shown in Picture below.

4.5.3 NETWORK Unfold <Network> to show its sub-options: Network, Email, and DDNS configuration, as shown in Picture below. LAN setting: NVR supports Static/DHCP/PPPOE modes. System default network type is <Static>. User can set parameters as required. After the network parameters are modified successfully, NVR will automatically restart. Email: Set NVR alarm Email configuration parameters, including Email address, SSL, Email Enable, Interval and Email Schedule, etc.

4.5.4 ALARM Alarm setting includes Motion Detection and I/O Alarm Parameters. Motion Detection: Configure Sensitivity, Alarm out, Alarm Record and Alarm Capture, etc. Detailed setting should be consistent with NVR local setting (Shown as Picture below). I/O alarm setting: Set parameters for I/O Alarm, Alarm Out, Alarm Record, Send Email, etc. Detailed setting should be consistent with NVR local setting (Shown as Picture below).

General User may check NVR language and video system and set system time, date/time format, menu display time, DST and NTP parameters shown as Picture below. LOCAL SETTING User may set Record Path (save Live record and Playback clip file), Download Path for remote file, SnapshotPath for captured pictures, Interval for switching record files (Packaging time), and File type (H264 and AVI) shown as Picture below. MOBILE SOFTWARE Mobile Software is used for iOS Platform (iPhone, iPad) and Android Platform (Android Smartphone, Tablet). Here follow the Mobile Software Client description. SMARTPHONE DEVICE 5.1.1 URMET IUVS SOFTWARE MOBILE Urmet iUVS is a mobile phone CCTV application developed for iPhone OS. It's compatible with the URMET H.264 NVR Boost 2.0 Series.

Add and delete device Device manager allow you add or delete device, and also modify device properties. Tab "Device Manager" on Main Menu to open this interface as below To add a new device, click "Add" button at the top right, then you can input the device name, address(IP, domain name or Device ID for Urmet DDNS Account), port, user name and password etc.

2. Open a channel Tab Cross button on one of the view window will enter channel list window, then select one channel to open on the previous window. Remote Playback Tab Remote Playback on Main Menu will show the playback entry. you will be able to play one channel of remote device after 2 steps.

Recording streaming You can record streaming when viewing live video. Tap and then tap channel label on the bottom panel to start recording. It will keep recording on live page after start record, and can only record the channels which are viewing. Recording will stop if you close the channel or leave live page.
TABLET DEVICE About Tablet Devices two apps are available: iUVSpad for iPad and iUVStab for Android tablet that use Data Port (Default: 9000). Here follow the description for these Apps. 5.2.1 URMET IUVSPAD AND IUVSTAB MOBILE Urmet iUVSpad and iUVStab are a mobile phone CCTV application developed for iPad and Android Tablet. It's compatible with the URMET H.264 NVR Boost 2.0 Series.

In order to add a new device, select “+” or “Add” in the right upper corner and put the Device Name, (IP, name or ID Device for DDNS Domain in Urmet DDNS or P2P Service) Port, Username, Password, ecc. and the Number channels will be provided automatically from device during the connection.

APPENDIX RECORD ALARM SETTING Please refer the below matrix: “⊥” stand for “only alarm but no record”; “AMR” stand for “alarm record”; “NLR” stand for “normal record”; and “NOR” stand for “ no record”. Once alarm is triggered, alarm icon will occur, and when many alarms are triggered, alarm remarks will occur on the screen.

What can I do if the system does not detect the HDD? Check if the power supply system is properly connected and data cord and power cables are securely connected, and if something wrong with the HDD interface. Or you may check if your HDD is supported by referring to the specifications or descriptions.
