BATTERY LOCATION & REPLACEMENT

Turn thumb screws to release the battery pack
It takes 5 to 10 turns to free the battery pack
Always turn the unit off prior to changing the battery to
ensure no data is lost

Remove Battery Pack by lifting it off the unit with
a vertical movement, as shown by the battery
warning label
•
Replace with a fully charged Battery Pack
•
Turn thumb screws to secure the battery
pack in place

WARNINGS

Always turn the unit off before removing the battery

It the battery pack is not locked into position, the unit will not start even if a charger is connected
to the unit A warning will display indicating to the user to lock battery pack securely into position

If battery becomes unusable, dispose of it immediately

Never disassemble the battery

Do not place the battery on metal objects as this could short circuit the power contact pins
Note: The unit uses an approved battery to ensure a quicker charging time, longer battery life and resistance
to shock and vibrations To ensure that the batteries are appropriate for use on DAP Technologies
equipment, it is strongly recommended that these be purchased directly through DAP Technologies or
one of its distributors Check for the DAP or DAP Technologies logo on the battery
