5. Place the decor door face-down on a protective cloth or similar and
position the fixing plate centrally in its required position.
and drawing a centre line with pencil can help here, depending
upon where you want the decor door to sit. If you want an offset
for example, then you have to factor this in to your measurements
Align the holes in the centre of the fixing plate with the centre line,
using the guides to help you (Fig. 19). Secure the plate in position
using wood screws of appropriate length. Please take care to
ensure the screws selected will not punch through the decor
door.
6. Remove the fitting guides. Also, if you haven't already done so,
remove the hinge alignment guides ('G' in Figs. 8 and 9 on page 21)
by opening the fridge and freezer doors and removing them.
7. With the help of another person, attach the decor door assembly to
the refrigerator and loosely fit the securing screws (circled in Fig. 18).
At this stage the final vertical and horizontal position of the decor
assembly may need adjustment (page 28).
8. Check and align the position of the decor door, as shown in the next
section. When done, secure the decor in position using the lower
decor fixing brackets and supplied screws (figure 20).
Repeat these steps with the lower decor door. However, instead of
using the top of the cabinet to align the fitting guides as in Fig. 17,
use the bottom of the upper decor door.
