DISASSEMBLY FOR REPAIR

1. Removing the Servo PWB
1) Remove the FPC from PICK UP UNIT and remove the
SENSOR FPC ASSY.
Caution : When remove the FPC, short the terminals by
soldering to prevent electorostatic damage.
(Reffer to page M8.)
2) Remove the Three screws.
3) Remove the Extention Lead of LOADING MOTOR ASSY.
FPC from PICK UP UNIT

4) Servo PWB is turned over and remove the FPC from
Spindle motor.

Note)
Do not remove the parts in No.30 SUSPENSION ASSY.
When removing the parts in No.30, special adjustment is re-
quired.
2. Removing the UPPER CHASSIS
1) Remove the Four screws and remove the GEAR HOUS-
ING SPRING.
2) Remove the UPPER CHASSIS.

Caution : When assembling the UPPER CHASSIS, the shaft
of the LOADING GEAR(1) is certainly inserted in the hole of
the UPPER CHASSIS.
