Thedetectorrequiresasingle9-volt
DonotuseordinaryZincCarbonbatteries.
Donotuse"HeavyDuty"batteries.
Rechargeablebatteriescanalsobeused.
Ifyouwishtouserechargeablebatteries,werecommendusinga
NickelMetalHydriderechargeablebattery.
The battery compartment is located on the back
sideofthehousing.
Slidethebatterydoortothesideandremoveitto
exposethebatterycompartment.
Foreasybatteryremoval,pushdownfirmlyonthe
bottomofthebattery (seeillustration).

Expect20to25hoursoflifefroma9-voltalkalinebattery.
Rechargeablebatteriesprovideabout8hoursofusagepercharge.

Non-Alkaline batteries should be recycled. In the state of California all battery
typesmustberecycled.Pleaserefertolocalmunicipalitiesfordetaileddisposal
andrecyclingrequirements.
ArmrestStrap
Thestrapisavailableforpurchaseasaseparate
accessory. Someusersprefertousethestrap
whenswingingthedetectorvigorouslyinorderto
holdthedetectorsecureagainstthearm.
Thedetectorcanalsobeusedwithoutthestrap,
with no compromise to detector balance and
stabilityundermostconditions.
