DISCRIMINATION SYSTEM
Target Detection
Sweep the detector back-and-forth
overtheground.
Keep the searchcoil parallel to the
groundasyousweep;donotliftthe
searchcoil at the ends of your
sweeps.
Searchcoil motion is required for
target detection (except in Pinpoint
Mode).

Target-ID

Whenobjectsaredetected,thedetectorwillemitasoundanda2-digitTarget-
ID will appear on the screen. Possible Target-IDs range from 1 to 99. This
number represents the electrical conductivity of the target detected; higher
numbersindicatemorehighlyconductivetargets.
The 2-digit number indicates the Target-ID of the last object detected. The
Eurotek Pro has a very fast target response and is able to detect different
objectsinverycloseproximity.Therefore,theTarget-IDdisplayedmaychange
rapidlyasyousweepthesearchcoil.
ThreesecondsafterthelastTarget-IDisdisplayed,theTarget-IDwilltime-out
andthenumberwilldisappear.
