Tap the "Backlight" menu item to display the following 3 selections:
Automatically turn off the backlight when using
battery power:
Tap the check box to toggle this function. Available idle
times are: 15 and 30 seconds, and 1, 2, and 5 minutes.
Automatically turn off the backlight when using
external power:
Tap the check box to toggle this function. Available idle
times are: 15 and 30 seconds, and 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, and
30 minutes.
Automatically turn on the backlight when key pressing:
This function is only activated by the 4210's keypad rather than the Windows CE
keyboard.

Warm Boot / Cold Boot

Warm Boot
To perform a warm boot while the 4210 is operating, insert a pin (paper clip
works well) into the reset hole on the back of the terminal, right on top of the
Extension Memory compartment (see page 3), or
Under the Windows folder of your terminal, locate the file BootMode.exe,
execute the program, and confirm the warning message.
WARNING: Warm Boot will cause unsaved data to be lost.
Cold Boot
While the terminal is ON, press and hold the "BS" key, and either press the reset
button or run Bootmode.exe just like performing a "Warm Boot". After the LCD
display has turned OFF and back ON, release the "BS" key.
NOTE:
Cold Boot will cause the 4210 to return to its original factory settings.
