• Only the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi frequency is supported.
• The Wi-Fi icon should appear in the product's display
panel during the product registration.
• A wireless AP (access point) or router and internet cable
are not included and must be installed before using the
LG Smart ThinQ application.
• You can contact your ISP (internet service provider)
to purchase and install a wireless AP. If you purchase
and install a wireless AP yourself, follow the installation
instructions included with the wireless AP.
• If the appliance is having trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi
network, it may be too far from the AP or router. Purchase
a Wi-Fi repeater (range extender) to improve the Wi-Fi
signal strength.
• The Wi-Fi connection may not connect or may be
interrupted because of the home network environment.
Contact your service provider for assistance.
• Make sure to set the wireless AP SSID (the name of
the Wi-Fi network) to English letters, numbers, or a
combination of letters and numbers. Do not use special
characters when naming the network or the information
will not be processed correctly by the appliance.
• Be sure to choose your home wireless network and not a
nearby network during setup. Unauthorized use of a Wi-
Fi network is prohibited by law.
