About the student microphone LEDs
The BATT and CHG LEDs provide status and troubleshooting information for the student
microphone.
BATT LED status
Solid green
Flashing green or flashing
orange
Solid yellow
Flashing yellow
Solid red
Flashing red
CHG LED status
Solid
Flashing
Flashing rapidly
Using the student microphone
To turn the student microphone on or off
1. Press and hold the TALK button or slide the switch until the BATT LED briefly lights green.
2. BATT LED flashes orange while the microphone pairs.
3. The BATT LED lights solid green.
To turn the student microphone off
Slide the switch down.
To use the microphone
Press and hold the TALK button while talking.
OR
Slide the switch up to keep the microphone on.

Description
Microphone is on.
Pairing with receiver or microphone is muted.
Battery is low.
Microphone is out of range of the receiver.
Battery is depleted.
Pairing error. See Resolving issues with the microphones on
page 13.
Description
Battery has finished charging.
Battery is charging.
There has been a charging error.
