OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. PLACE LOG SPLITTER ON A STABLE, FLAT SURFACE
2. START ENGINE & ADVANCE THROTTLE TO MAXIMUM
3. PLACE LOG ON CRADLE AGAINST FOOT PLATE
4. MOVE VALVE HANDLE TOWARDS FOOT PLATE TO
EXTEND THE WEDGE AND SPLIT THE LOG
5. MOVE VALVE HANDLE TOWARDS THE OPERATOR TO
RETRACT THE WEDGE FROM THE LOG
NOTE: SPLIT WOOD IN DIRECTION OF THE GRAIN
CONTROL VALVE

● Read the Operation Manual on how to attach the
coupler to the hitch ball and how to tow safely.
● Ensure the correct ball size is being used.
● Do not exceed hitch ball or coupler load limits.
● Attach and secure safety chains prior to towing.
● Do not exceed maximum towing speed of 45 mph.
● Avoid sharp turns and steep angles.
● Check tightness of the coupler before towing.
● Replace the hitch ball or coupler if damaged.

Make sure all safety warning decals are attached and in readable
condition. Replace missing or defaced decals. Contact Dirty Hand

Operator Zone Decal Part # 100399
Tank oil level should always be kept between the "MAX"
and "MIN" lines indicated on the dipstick. Never fill the
reservoir above the "MAX" line. Consult the Operation
Manual for maximum system and operating fluid
capacities. Select oil viscosity based on the outside
temperature at the time of operation in the table below
