Unpacking & Assembly
List of tools needed for assembly:
• Needle nose pliers • Scissors • Box Cutter or knife
• (2) 17mm wrenches • (2) 19mm wrenches
IMPORTANT: The hydraulic tank is pre-filled with AW46 hydraulic
fluid and the engine is pre-filled with 10W30 engine oil at the factory.
Two (2) people may be required for assembly
1. Cut and remove the box and additional packaging.
2. Cut and remove banding using scissors.
3. Remove engine guard
underneath the engine (see arrow). Recycle engine guard.
4. Cut and remove bag around the tow coupler, cut zip tie and
lower tongue . Extend tongue stand

5. Remove bolts, washers, and nuts

6. Slide tongue into the mounting bracket

the two holes in the tongue with the two holes in the
bracket and secure with hex bolt
washer and hex nut

7. Lower beam into the horizontal position and secure beam
latch . Two people may be required to complete operation.

8. Attach valve handle
with clevis pin and cotter pin

9. Remove log splitter from metal pallet
Two people may be required to complete operation.
10. Check all fittings and hardware for tightness.
