3. Exclusive mode
Introduction:
Exclusive mode allows only one computer connected to it to print at one time. If you start this mode,
your computer will occupy the router's print service and other computers connected to the router will
not be able to print documents. Exclusive mode is disabled by default.
Note these points:
Your router's print server may not support exclusive mode as it depends on the version of your print
server utility.
When you start this mode, the status of print server on the Web-based management page will be Busy.
Printing tasks performed by other computers which share the print service later will wait in queue and
be completed automatically after you stop this mode.
If you start this mode without performing any printing task for two minutes, this mode will stop
automatically to allow other users in your LAN to print documents via the router.
Start/stop the mode:
To start/stop exclusive mode on your computer, right-click the icon
screen and then click Start exclusive mode / Stop exclusive mode.
