Attention! Make sure that the
drive rods do not bind (Fig. 3).
Binding can cause serious dama-
ge to the model.
Replacing the tender motor
- Remove the gearbox by remo-
ving the front and rear coupler
plates. Remove the two screws
on the top gearbox plate, and
remove the plate. Replace the
motor. Reassemble.
Attention! If the motor is repla-
ced, generously lubricate the
gears with LGB Gear Lubricant
(51020).
Replacing the tender brushes,
pick-up shoes and wheelsets
Remove the the four screws on
the bottom gearbox plate, and
remove the plate. Replace the
necessary parts. Reassemble.
Attention! If the wheelsets are
replaced, generously lubricate
the gears with LGB Gear Lubri-
cant (51020).
