1. Display Layout: 2. Programming the Time and Date: from first power up, the screen will show --:-- note: in this mode, the ‘Temp’, ‘Mode’ and ‘Prog’ buttons do not perform any function. Press ‘Time’ and hold for 3 seconds. Whilst holding, the word hold shows. - Page 4 The hour symbol will blink. Use ‘Temp’ or ‘Mode’ to set the hour. ‘Temp’ increases the numeric value and ‘Mode’ decreases the numeric value. The hour is a 24hr clock. Use ‘Time’ to move the blinking to the minutes. - Page 6 Press ‘Prog’ to exit program mode. At any time during programming, if the ‘Prog’ button is held down for 3 seconds, the TRT05 will return to operating mode. The display will now show: Where the time is correct, and the on/off indicator reflects the current program.

Programming across midnight: To programme across midnight, enter the start time of the last period (say 20:00), and then leave the end time blank (--:--). Start the next days on period at 00:00 and then enter the off time that is required. Setting temperature: Press and hold the ‘Temp’... -
Page 8: Operating Mode
4. Operating Mode: The TRT05 has four operating modes. Pressing the ‘Mode’ button scrolls between modes. Modes are: Auto mode: the output will be controlled by the set temperature only. The output will be on, irrespective of the set temperature. - Page 9 (not the set temperature). If ‘Temp’ is pressed briefly again, then the display reverts to showing the time. In both auto, and timed mode, the on off will reflect the output of the TRT05.
