B. Tools And Supplies Needed
Tools and building supplies normally required for
installation, unless installing into an existing masonry
fireplace:
• Reciprocating Saw
• Hammer
• Phillips Screwdriver
• Tape Measure
• Level
• Non-Combustible Sealant
C. Inspect Appliance and Components
• Carefully remove the appliance and components from the
packaging.
• Report to your dealer any parts damaged in shipment,
particularly the condition of the glass.
• Read all of the instructions before starting the
installation. Follow these instructions carefully during
the installation to ensure maximum safety and benefit.
DO NOT:
• Install or operate damaged appliance.
• Modify appliance.
• Install other than as instructed by Hearth & Home
Technologies.
• Operate the appliance without fully assembling all
components.
• Overfire.
• Install any component not approved by Hearth &
Home Technologies.
• Install parts or components not Listed or approved.
• Disable safety switches.
Improper installation, adjustment, alteration, service or
maintenance can cause injury or property damage.
For assistance or additional information, consult a qualified
installer, service agency or your dealer.
