{ Progressive }
Allow you to turn on the progressive
scan function if the DVD recorder is
connected to a TV with progressive scan.
– { On } : Select this to enable progressive
scan function.
– { Off } : Select this to disable the
progressive scan function.

Audio output

After connecting the DVD recorder to
your TV and other devices, you may need
to change the digital output setting.
Adjust the Digital Output only if you use
the DVD recorder's COAXIAL jack.

{ Digital output }
– { All } : Select this if you use the
COAXIAL socket to connect the DVD
recorder to a stereo receiver that has a
built-in Multi-Channel decoder.
– { PCM } : Select this if the connected
audio equipment is not capable of decoding
multichannel audio. Dolby Digital and
MPEG-2 multi-channel signals are converted
to PCM (Pulse Code Modulation.)
– { Off } : Select this to deactivate the digital
audio output. For example, if you use the
AUDIO OUT sockets to connect the DVD
recorder to a TV or Stereo system.
TIPS:
Underlined option is the factory default setting.
Press 1 to go back to previous menu item. Press SYSTEM-MENU to exit the menu.
