Field Description
View BMC System The option specifies BMC system event log. Select this option and press <Enter> to
Event Log access the submenu to view the contents of System Event log.
Clear BMC System The option specifies clear system event log. If the BMC Event log is full, you can choose
Event Log this item to clear out the BMC Event log. If this option is selected, a confirmation prompt
will appear before the log is cleared.

Field Description
Serial Port This setting will assign the serial port connector to the system. This is
Assignment the default setting.
This setting will assign the serial port connector to the BMC (Baseboard
management controller).
Serial Port Switching This setting allows the Serial port switch between system and BMC.
This setting will prevent the Serial port from switching between system
and BMC. The setting default value is Disabled.
Serial Port Serial port connection mode is Direct. The setting default value is
Connection Mode Direct.
Serial port connection mode is Modem.
