You can change or check the direct connection (access point mode) settings.
Changing Settings in Direct Connection
Note
• You can use this function only when you are using a computer compatible with the wireless LAN.
• You cannot change the settings depending on the printer you are using.
Set up device by using web browser
Starts up the web browser to change printer's settings. (Remote UI)
Note
• This setting item is not available depending on the printer you are using. In addition, not available
when the printer is connected to the computer only via USB.
• You can use Remote UI on the following OS and the web browser.
OS: Mac OS X v.10.6 or later
Web browser: Safari 5.1 or later
