Vehicles with manual transmission: the vehicle is at a standstill.
No stop preventers are active. The clutch pedal is fully depressed.
The engine is not switched off automatically. The flashing indi-
cator lamp is intended to remind you to activate the automatic
start/stop system in order to save fuel.

Shift into neutral and release clutch pedal slowly.
Engine is switched off automatically.
Vehicles with manual transmission: the engine has stalled.
