3.PRINTING FROM MAC OS APPLICATIONS
 Enhancing images (Resolution)
Sets the resolution.
For multifunctional digital color system (Color MFP)
Select [Print] from the [File] menu of the application.

Set a value in [Resolution] from the [Color Settings 1] menu.

Resolution
 600 dpi: Prints in 600 x 600 dpi.
 1200 dpi: Prints in 1200 x 1200 dpi.
 600 x 1200 dpi: Prints in 600 x 1200 dpi.
 [1200 dpi] is only available when printing is performed on the following models.
- e-STUDIO5005AC Series
 When [1200 dpi] or [600 x 1200 dpi] is selected, the following function is not available.
- Auto Trapping
 [600 x 1200 dpi] is only available with e-STUDIO2500AC Series.
 If you select the following resolutions to print booklets, the output contents are converted to 600 dpi.
- Selecting [1200 dpi] to print from e-STUDIO5005AC Series
- Selecting [600 x 1200 dpi] to print from e-STUDIO2500AC Series
 When [600 x 1200 dpi] is selected, after setting the drawer and paper direction, images cannot be rotated
automatically even if you change the direction of the paper loaded in the drawer. For example, in hold printing
with A4-R paper loaded in the first drawer, if you rotate the paper by 90 degrees after storing the job in the
Hold Print queue, print data is not changed resulting in A4-R printouts.
 When [600 x 1200 dpi] is selected, the paper of different direction function for the automatic change of paper
source is not available.
 If the envelope or non-standard size paper is used, the automatic change of paper source is available only
when the paper is set with its long-edge at the front in the drawer unless [600 dpi] is selected.

automatic change of paper source is not available.

Set other print functions, and then select this equipment from [Printer].
Click [Print] to send the job.
