RECEIVER INSTALLATION
Put the receiver into the cigarette lighter socket. The red
LED on the receiver lights up and the unit is ready for use.
When the vehicle (and thereby the bike carrier) is put into
reverse, you will hear a short beep from the receiver to
indicate that the device is activated.

OPERATION

When the vehicle is in reverse gear, the sensors are activated and transmit ultrasonic
signals. You will hear a short beep from the receiver to indicate that the device is ready
to use. If these signals are being reflected by an object, the received signals are analysed
by the controller's microprocessor. The distance between sensor and object is indicated
by an acoustic alert (beep) that increases in frequency as an object is approached:
Distance
>2.0m
2.0m ~ 1.5m
1.4m ~ 1.0m
0.9m ~ 0.5m
<0.4m
ALERT-VOLUME
The alert-volume is adjustable with the rotary control of the
receiver.
TESTING THE DEVICE
Switch on the ignition of your car and engage the reverse gear. The receiver unit beeps
shortly to indicate that the device is activated. Be very carefully when backing up for the
first time and familiarize yourself with the unit´s beep sequences and the according
distances to the approached object. Approach an obstacle in different ways in order to
test if both sensors are working correctly. Adjust the mounting position or height if
necessary.
