INTRODUCTION
The Pro-User PDC2 Wireless Park Distance Control is a member of the family of advanced
car back-up systems manufactured by Pro User.
The Pro-User PDC2 Wireless Park Distance Control is ideal for retrofitting a bike carrier, a
trailer, a caravan or a car and increases safety when backing up. When the car´s reverse
gear is engaged, the weather-proof sensors activate automatically and transmit an
ultrasonic signal. If the signal bounces off any object in its path, it is received by the
PDC2's controller. These reflected signals are analysed by the controller's microprocessor.
The calculated clearance between the sensor and the object is indicated by an acoustic
alert that increases in frequency as the obstacle is approached.
We have taken numerous measures in quality control to ensure that your product arrives
in top condition, and will perform to your satisfaction.

following these instructions may result in a serious accident, including damaged

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

If you are not confident working with your car´s 12V DC voltage or are unsure of what
you are doing, read your car´s user manual or consider to seek for help by a car garage
or your vehicle´s manufacturer.
This system is intended to be used only on vehicles with a 12 Volt
DC automotive battery. NEVER CONNECT to 6V, 24V or other
batteries. Not following these instructions could cause serious
personal injury or material damage.
Keep the receiver unit dry and clean. Do not use the system close to open fire or
in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases
or dust. Please stop using the device, if the unit is getting hot, is smoking or is
showing any abnormal behaviour.
The Pro-User PDC2 Wireless Park Distance Control works precisely and reliably,
but it is only an aid in parking your vehicle. Pro-User is not liable for any direct
or indirect damages or injuries caused by the use of the device, especially
caused by failure to follow these instructions. The usage of this device does not
absolve the vehicle driver from his duty of care when driving in reverse.
INTERFERENCE
This device, as well as all other wireless devices, may be subject to interference.
Interference may be caused by cell phones, Bluetooth headsets, Wi-Fi routers, power
lines and other electrical equipment.

MAINTENANCE

To ensure reliable operation, clean the sensors as necessary. Do not try to open the
housings of the delivered units. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Damage due
to improper use, modifications or attempted repairs lead to the exclusion of liability and
the loss of warranty.
