• Beverages should be stored in air-
tight bottles;
• Do not allow fat or butter to contact
plastic parts of the refrigerator or the
door seal!

Freezing products

• Nearly all foodstuffs may be frozen,
with the exception of vegetables
such as lettuce that are not for cook-
ing;
• Products must be packed in bags
that are odourless, airtight and wa-
terproof;
• For identification purposes, pack-
ages must be labelled with the date
of storage;
• The package must be leak-proof
and tightly fit the product to be fro-
zen. Glass containers are prohib-
ited!
• Do not place more than 6 kg of fresh
products in the freezer compartment
on any day;
• To preserve the high quality of fro-
zen products, make sure that the
products located in the central part
of the freezer compartment do not
come into contact with products that
were just placed there;
• The temperature in the freezer com-
partment depends on the ambient
temperature, density of foodstuffs
stored in the compartment, how fre-
quently the door is opened, and the
amount of frost covering the evapo-
rator's cooling parts;
• On occasion, it may be difficult to
open the freezer compartment's
door directly after closing it. Wait 1
– 2 minutes until the vacuum gen-
erated in the compartment is made
up for.
Shelf life of frozen products
• The shelf life of frozen products
depends on their freshness before
freezing and on the storage tem-
perature. The following storage pe-
riods are recommended if products
are kept at a temperature of –18 °С
or less:
