On 3-door models
Opening
Press the button to the resistance
point.
The window opens while the switch is being
held.
Press the switch beyond the resist‐
ance point.
The window opens automatically. Pressing
the switch again stops the motion.
Convenient opening via the remote control, re‐
fer to page 35.
Closing
Pull the switch to the resistance point.
The window closes while the switch is being
held.
Pull the switch beyond the resistance
point.
The window closes automatically if the door
is closed. Pulling the switch again stops the
motion.

page 39.

Pinch protection system
General information
If closing force exceeds a specific threshold as a
window closes, closing is interrupted.
The window opens slightly.
Safety information
WARNING
Accessories on the windows such as an‐
tennas can impact jam protection. There is a
risk of injury. Do not install accessories in the
area of movement of the
Closing without the jam protection
system
In case of danger from the outside or if ice
might prevent normal closing, proceed as fol‐
lows:
1.
Pull the switch past the resistance
point and hold it there.
The window closes with limited jam protec‐
tion . If the closing force exceeds a specific
threshold, closing is interrupted.
2.
Pull the switch past the resistance
point again within approx. 4 seconds and
hold it there.
The window closes without jam protection .
On 5-door models: safety switch
General information
The opening and closing of the rear window
can be blocked via the safety switch for the
rear. This makes sense, e.g., if children or ani‐
mals are carried in the rear.
If an accident of a certain severity occurs, the
safety function is switched off automatically.
