60 Programmed Playback
You may determine
the order in which Tracks will play.The order
that you set is called the Program.To
set up programmed
playback,
follow
these steps.
• Before you begin, place the DVD/VCR
in DVD mode.
Press the DVD/VCR
OUTPUT
button so that the red DVD light
appears on the front of the DVD/VCR.

While playback is stopped, press the DVD button, then
)ress the MODE button. The program screen will appear.

the number
of the firstTrack
that you want to play.Then,
press the ENTER
button
to store the selected Track
in the
Program.
• If you enter a wrong Track number, press the CLEAR button.The
last Track in the Program will be removed.

step 2 until you have selected
all the Tracks you
wish to play in the Program.
• Up to 20Tracks may be stored in the Program.
• Make sure the Track numbers you enter are available on the
Audio CD. If it is not, you will have to enter a different track.

Press the PLAY button.
The Tracks will play in the order in
which you programmed them.The
Program will play once.
• The contents of the program will be stored until you turn off
the DVD/VCR
or open the Disc tray.

Hints
Specific Track and random play-
back cannot be combined with
programmed playback. During pro-
grammed playback, the MODE
and SEARCH MODE buttons will
not operate.
You may play a Program repeated-
ly. During programmed playback,
press the REPEATbutton so that
REPEAT[ON] appears.The pro-
gram will play over and over.
To see which Tracks you stared in
the Program, press the STOP but-
ton to stop playback, then press
the MODE button so that the
PROGRAM screen appears.
Programmed playback can only be
started from the program screen.
