Prerequisites

1 Remove the optical
2 Remove the base
3 Remove the battery.
4 Remove the hard

Procedure

1 Lift the latch and disconnect the I/O-board cable from the system board.
2 Peel the I/O-board cable from the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
3 Remove the screw that secures the I/O board to the palm rest and keyboard
assembly.
