must correspond to that marked on the light guide
fitting. This is essential for proper operation of the
AutoFocus function. The larger filled circle pictogram
on the left indicates the standard Ø7.5mm light
guide, while the smaller filled circle pictogram on the
right indicates the optional Ø5.5mm light guide.
3) Bring the light guide close to the material surface,
without touching it as that would risk reducing
polymerization quality. The use of a transparent strip
is advised.
4) Press the ON/OFF button to start the polymerization
cycle. This action is confirmed by an audible beep.
5) Press and hold the ON/OFF button to produce a red
aiming circle. When you release the button, the
aiming circle disappears and the curing light is
switched on. This function allows you to view the
zone where the power is maximal.
6) The AutoFocus function needs a one-second
adjustment time to determine the polymerization
parameters. The preprogrammed polymerization
time of the selected menu varies according to the
position of the light guide with respect to the
material surface. The calculated time in seconds is
displayed on the LCD screen.
7) When the adjustment time has elapsed, the cycle is
started automatically. A countdown on the LCD
screen shows you how much time remains, and every
five seconds a beep informs you of the progress of the
current cycle. In AutoFocus mode, when the
polymerization cycle is completed, the time that was
calculated and applied is displayed.
8) You can press the ON/OFF button at any time to
interrupt the current polymerization cycle.
9) At the end of the cycle, another beep informs you
that the cycle has been completed successfully.
10) Note that if no button has been pressed for 30
seconds the LCD screen backlighting switches off.
11) After three minutes without use, the unit switches
to standby mode (low consumption). Press any
button to reactivate the light.
7 – CONFIGURATION
The AutoFocus and Laser Target function settings can be
defined by the user: you can decide whether to activate
them or not.
AutoFocus configuration
The AutoFocus function is active only in Fast curing and
Pulse curing modes. The range of measurement of the
AutoFocus function is 9mm.
To change the status of the AF mode, press and hold the
configuration button (6) of the double button for
2.5 seconds.
The screen below is displayed:
When the function is active, the symbol AF is displayed
below the menu pictograms.
When the Laser Target and AutoFocus functions are
activated at the same time, the Target ring appears
then disappears when the ON/OFF button is released. In
this case, releasing the button starts the AutoFocus
function measurement.
Laser Target configuration
By default, the Mini L.E.D. AutoFocus is configured
with Laser Target active.
To activate or deactivate Laser Target, press and hold
the menu button (5) for 2.5 seconds.
