     Never start operation with damaged components.  The device does not contain any service components. If the device is not functioning correctly, or if it is damaged, turn off the power supply and return the device to Hirschmann for inspection. WARNING UNCONTROLLED MACHINE ACTIONS To avoid uncontrolled machine actions caused by data loss, configure all the data transmission devices individually.

    Installing media modules Hirschmann supplies the media modules ready for operation. You have the option to mount the media modules while the device is oper- ating. Proceed as follows:  Remove the protective cap from the slot of the basic module.
