D 6.1.3 Steuerspannung zum Einschalten
Die Car-HiFi-Endstufe wird durch eine Steuerspan-

nung von +12 V am Anschluss REM (16) ein- und
ausgeschaltet. Den Anschluss REM mit dem 12-V-
CH
Schaltausgang vom Autoradio verbinden (Anschluss
für eine Motorantenne, eventuell mit der Motoran-
tenne parallel schalten).
6.2 Line-Ein- und Ausgänge
1) Die beiden Eingangsbuchsen LINE IN (3) über
Cinch-Kabel mit den Line-Ausgängen der Signal-
quelle (z. B. Autoradio) verbinden oder falls
vorhanden mit den Ausgängen für einen Sub-
woofer-Verstärker. Sind am Autoradio keine Line-
Ausgänge vorhanden, können die Lautsprecher-
ausgänge des Autoradios über einen entspre-
chenden Audio-Übertrager (z. B. FGA-22HQ von
CARPOWER) mit den Eingängen der Endstufe
verbunden werden.
2) Der Line-Eingang der Endstufe für die Hauptlaut-
sprecher kann über ein Cinch-Kabel an die Buch-
sen LINE OUT (4) angeschlossen werden. An
diesen Buchsen liegt das Eingangssignal der
Buchsen LINE IN (3) an.
6.3 Lautsprecher
Wichtig! Bei der Auswahl geeigneter Lautsprecher
unbedingt deren mechanische und elektrische
Belastbarkeit im Zusammenhang mit der genutz-
ten Endstufenleistung berücksichtigen (siehe auch
technische Daten der Endstufe Seite 7).
6.3.1 Normalbetrieb (Abb. 3)
Den Subwoofer (Impedanz min. 1 Ω) oder eine Sub-
woofer-Gruppe mit einer Gesamtimpedanz von min-
destens 1 Ω an die Kontakte (13) anschließen. Die
beiden Kontaktpaare „+" und „-" sind parallel geschal-
tet, sodass bei Bedarf auch zwei Subwoofer mit einer
Impedanz von je 2 Ω angeschlossen werden können.
6.1.3 Control voltage for switching-on

The car HiFi power amplifier is switched on and off
by a control voltage of +12 V at the terminal REM
(16). Connect the terminal REM to the 12 V control
output of the car radio (connection for a motor
antenna, if necessary, to be connected in parallel to
the motor antenna).
6.2 Line inputs and outputs
1) Connect the two input jacks LINE IN (3) via
cables with phono connectors to the line outputs
of the signal source (e. g. car radio) or, if avail-
able, to the outputs for a subwoofer amplifier. If
the car radio is not equipped with line outputs, the
speaker outputs of the car radio can be con-
nected via a corresponding audio transformer
(e. g. FGA-22HQ from CARPOWER) to the in-
puts of the power amplifier.
2) The line input of the power amplifier for the main
speakers can be connected via a cable with
phono connectors to the jacks LINE OUT (4). The
input signal of the jacks LINE IN (3) is available at
these jacks.
6.3 Speakers
Important! When choosing suitable speakers, pay
in any case attention to their mechanical and elec-
trical capability in connection with the power used
of the power amplifier (also see specifications of
the power amplifier on page 7).
6.3.1 Normal operation (fig. 3)
Connect the subwoofer (minimum impedance 1 Ω)
or a subwoofer group with a total impedance of 1 Ω
as a minimum to the contacts (13). The two contact
pairs "+" and "-" are connected in parallel so that
also two subwoofers with an impedance of 2 Ω each
may be connected, if required.

6.3.2 Brückenbetrieb (Master/Slave-Betrieb)
Mit einer zweiten Endstufe SYNTEX-1000D lässt
sich die Ausgangsleistung im Brückenbetrieb auf
über 2 kW an einem 2-Ω-Subwoofer erhöhen. Die
Impedanz des Subwoofers darf im Brückenbetrieb
2 Ω nicht unterschreiten. Die Verdrahtung für den
Brückenbetrieb ist in der Abb. 4 dargestellt. Die Ver-
bindungen, die von denen im Normalbetrieb abwei-
chen, sind dicker gezeichnet.
1) Die Buchse LINK OUT (5) der ersten Endstufe
(Master) mit der Buchse LINK IN (5) der zweiten
Endstufe (Slave) über ein Cinch-Kabel verbin-
den.
2) Die Lautsprecher-Minuspolanschlüsse (13) der
beiden Endstufen mit einem Lautsprecherkabel
verbinden.
3) Den Pluspol des Subwoofers an den Lautspre-
cheranschluss „+" der ersten Endstufe anschlie-
ßen und den Minuspol des Subwoofers an den
Lautsprecheranschluss „+" der zweiten Endstufe.
4) An der ersten Endstufe den Schalter CONFIG
(11) in die Position MASTER stellen und den
Schalter PHASE (12) in die Position 0°.
5) An der zweiten Endstufe den Schalter CONFIG
in die Position SLAVE stellen und den Schalter
PHASE in die Position 180°.
6) Alle weiteren Einstellungen bei der Inbetrieb-
nahme (Kap. 7) nur an der ersten Endstufe durch-
führen. Die Regler der zweiten Endstufe sind
ohne Funktion.
6.4 Fernbedienung
Mit der Fernbedienung (20) lässt sich die Lautstärke
der Bässe je nach Musikmaterial unterschiedlich
laut einstellen. Die Fernbedienung in Fahrerreich-
weite montieren und über das beiliegende An-
schlusskabel mit der Buchse LEVEL REMOTE (2)
der Endstufe verbinden. Den Schalter LEVEL
REMOTE (1) in die Position ON stellen.
6.3.2 Bridge operation (master/slave operation)
With a second power amplifier SYNTEX-1000D it is
possible to increase the output power in bridge oper-
ation to more than 2 kW at a 2 Ω subwoofer. The
impedance of the subwoofer in bridge operation
must not fall below 2 Ω. The wiring for the bridge
operation is shown in fig. 4. The connections which
deviate from those in normal operation are marked
with a thicker line.
1) Connect the jack LINK OUT (5) of the first power
amplifier (master) to the jack LINK IN (5) of the
second power amplifier (slave) via a cable with
phono connectors.
2) Connect the negative pole connections (13) of
the speakers of the two power amplifiers with a
speaker cable.
3) Connect the positive pole of the subwoofer to the
speaker connection "+" of the first power amplifier
and the negative pole of the subwoofer to the
speaker connection "+" of the second power
amplifier.
4) First power amplifier: Set the switch CONFIG (11)
to position MASTER and the switch PHASE (12)
to position 0°.
5) Second power amplifier: Set the switch CONFIG
to position SLAVE and the switch PHASE to posi-
tion 180°.
6) When setting into operation (chapter 7), make all
further settings only at the first power amplifier.
The controls of the second power amplifier are
without function.
6.4 Remote control
The remote control (20) allows to adjust the volume
of the low frequencies differently, depending on the
music material. Mount the remote control within driv-
er's reach and connect it via the supplied cable to
the jack LEVEL REMOTE (2) of the power amplifier.
Set the switch LEVEL REMOTE (1) to position ON.
7 Inbetriebnahme

Vor dem ersten Einschalten sollte die kom-
plette Verdrahtung der Car-HiFi-Endstufe
noch einmal auf Richtigkeit überprüft werden.
Erst danach die Minusklemme der Autobat-
terie wieder anschließen.
1) Die Trennfrequenz (d. h. die Frequenz, die vom
Subwoofer nicht mehr wiedergegeben werden
soll) mit dem Regler LP (8) einstellen. Die Fein-
einstellung erfolgt nach der Pegeleinstellung mit
entsprechenden Messgeräten.
2) Mit dem Regler SUBSONIC (7) die untere Über-
tragungsfrequenz des Subwoofers einstellen.
Der Subwoofer wird so durch das Subsonic-Filter
vor sehr tiefen Frequenzen geschützt.
3) Den Regler LEVEL (6) ganz nach links in die
Position 7 V drehen.
Wenn die Fernbedienung (20) angeschlossen
ist, deren Regler ganz nach rechts in die Position
MAX drehen und den Schalter LEVEL REMOTE
(1) an der Endstufe in die Position ON stellen. Ist
die Fernbedienung nicht angeschlossen, den
Schalter LEVEL REMOTE in die Position OFF
stellen, sonst ist die Endstufe stumm geschaltet.
4) Wenn die Endstufe nicht im Brückenbetrieb
arbeitet, den Schalter CONFIG (11) in die Posi-
tion MASTER stellen. Arbeitet sie mit einer zwei-
ten Endstufe im Brückenbetrieb, zum Einstellen
der Schalter CONFIG die Abb. 4 beachten.
5) Die Car-HiFi-Anlage komplett einschalten. Für
einige Sekunden ist die Endstufe stumm geschaltet
(Einschaltverzögerung) und die rote LED PRO-
TECT (15) leuchtet. Danach erlischt sie, die blaue
LED POWER (14) leuchtet auf und die beiden
Seitenteile der Endstufe werden blau erleuchtet.
6) Die Signalquelle, z. B. das Autoradio, auf maxi-
male, nicht verzerrende Lautstärke einstellen.
Tipp Um Störeinstrahlungen durch die Autoelek-
trik so gering wie möglich zu halten, sollte

Prior to the first switching-on, it is recom-
mended to check the entire wiring of the car
HiFi power amplifier once again for correct-
ness before reconnecting the negative ter-
minal of the car battery.
1) Adjust the crossover frequency (i. e. the fre-
quency which is not to be reproduced by the sub-
woofer any more) with the control LP (8). The fine
adjustment is made with corresponding meters
after the level adjustment.
2) With the control SUBSONIC (7) adjust the lower
radiating frequency of the subwoofer. Thus, the
subwoofer is protected by the subsonic filter
against very low frequencies.
3) Turn the control LEVEL (6) to the left stop to posi-
tion 7 V.
If the remote control (20) has been connected,
turn its control to the right stop to position MAX
and turn the switch LEVEL REMOTE (1) at the
power amplifier to position ON. If the remote con-
trol is not connected, set the switch LEVEL
REMOTE to position OFF, otherwise the power
amplifier is muted.
4) When the power amplifier does not work in bridge
operation, set the switch CONFIG (11) to position
MASTER. If it works with a second power ampli-
fier in bridge operation, pay attention to fig. 4
when adjusting the switches CONFIG.
5) Switch on the car HiFi system completely. For a
few seconds the power amplifier is muted (switch-
on delay) and the red LED PROTECT (15) lights
up. Then it will be extinguished, the blue LED
POWER (14) will light up, and the two lateral parts
of the power amplifier will be illuminated in blue.
6) Adjust the signal source, e. g. the car radio, to
maximum, non-distorting volume.
