Problems Causes
High Cycle pipe is clogged.
temperature in
the freezer
compartment.
Leak at loop pipe weld joint
(discharge) in compressor.
Faulty cooling fan in the compressor
compartment.
Checks
Check sequence.
1. Check temperature of condenser
manually.
If it is warm, OK.
If it is not, compressor discharging
joints might be clogged.
2. Manually check whether hot line
pipe is warm.
If it is warm, OK.
If it is not, condenser outlet weld
joints might be colgged.
Check sequence.
1. Manually check whether
condenser is warm, It is not warm
and the frost forms partly on the
evaporator in the freezer
compartment.
Check sequence.
1. Check cooling fan operation.
2. Check that cooling fan is
disconnected from the motor.
Measures
- Maybe evacuate should be the first
step here. If the servicer puts a torch
to a charged system, the joint will
explode and spray refrigerant on him.
Also, if oil is forced out, it could
create a fire or safety hazard.
- If it's warm, OK. If it's not,
condenser discharging line weld
joints might be clogged.
Discharge the system and recover the
refrigerant. Then use a torch to
disconnect unbraze the piping to repair
the obstruction. Repair, evacuate the
system, and recharge it before testing.
Replace the compressor, weld,
evacuate, and recharge refrigerant.
- Replace if motor does not operate.
- If fan is disconnected, check fan
damage and reassemble it.

Remarks
Direr must be replaced.
