    HARDWARE IDENTIFICATION CHART This chart is provided to help identify the hardware used in the assembly process. Place the washers or the ends of the bolts or screws on the circles to check for the correct diameter. Use the small scale to check the length of the bolts and screws.

  • Page 8 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS STEP 2 There is an “R” decal on the RIGHT HANDLEBAR(6), and a “L” decal on the LEFT HANDLEBAR(7). Slide the BELLOW(24) onto the RIGHT HANDLEBAR(6). Attach the RIGHT HANDLEBAR(6) to the PIVOTING BRACKET(3) located on the rear of the RIGHT BASE(1) with HEX HEAD BOLT(M8x1.25x45mm)(40), WASHERS(M8)(46), and NYLOCK NUT(M8x1.25)(48).
  • Page 9 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS STEP 4 There is an “R” decal on the RIGHT PEDAL CAP(20R), and a “L” decal on the LEFT PEDAL CAP(20L). Insert the PEDAL SHAFT(15) through hole on the PEDAL SUPPORT(10). Place a SPACER(21) and the RIGHT PEDAL CAP(20R) onto right end of the PEDAL SHAFT(15). Place a SPACER(21) and the LEFT PEDAL CAP(20L) onto left end of the PEDAL SHAFT(15).

    OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS USING THE FITNESS METER POWER ON : Seat movement or press the button. POWER OFF : Automatic shut off after four minutes of inactivity. FUNCTION BUTTON: Press to select lower display functions. Lower display functions include SCAN, TIME, CALORIES, DISTANCE, and TOTAL COUNT. Press and hold for three seconds to reset all functions to zero.

    1201 Orbital Rower. Do not use the SEAT(18) to move the 1201 Orbital Rower. The SEAT(18) will move and the SEAT CARRIAGE(8) may pinch your hand or fingers. 3. To avoid damage to the electronics, remove the battery before storing the 1201 Orbital Rower for one year or more.

    CONDITIONING GUIDELINES How you begin your exercise program depends on your physical condition. If you have been inactive for several years or are severely overweight, start slowly and increase your workout time gradually. Increase your workout intensity gradually by monitoring your heart rate while you exercise. Remember to follow these essentials: Have your doctor review your training and diet programs.

    WARM-UP and COOL-DOWN Warm-Up The purpose of warming up is to prepare your body for exercise and to minimize injuries. Warm up for two to five minutes before strength training or aerobic exercising. Perform activities that raise your heart rate and warm the working muscles. Activities may include brisk walking, jogging, jumping jacks, jump rope, and running in place.
