Now you can use the Slide's internet on your system using USB connection.
Bluetooth Tethering: Tethering refers to connecting one device to another. Tethering allows
sharing the Internet connection of the phone or slide with other devices such as laptops. Sharing
internet connection using Bluetooth is called Bluetooth tethering.
Steps to perform Bluetooth tethering
Bluetooth tethering allows sharing the Internet connection of the phone or tablet with other
devices such as laptops via Bluetooth.
In Slidego to settingsturn on Bluetooth.
In settingsgo to More Settingtethering & portable hotspotcheck Bluetooth tethering.
In Laptopturn on the system's Bluetooth.
Dial upsearch for all available Bluetooth devicesadd your Bluetooth deviceselect your
device (Slide).
Now go to network access point serviceperform pairing of the devices.
Now you can use the Slide's internet on your system using Bluetooth connection.
VPN: VPN stands for Virtual Private Mode. Using this feature, you can connect to your private
network through a public network in a secured way. You can add a VPN connection, customize it
as per your requirement and then save the settings. Once the network is created, select the
network again to connect to it.
Add a VPN
To add a VPN, you need to get the details from your network administrator. Your organization
may need you to install a VPN app from Google Play or your administrator, which you may need
to configure directly from that application.
To add a VPN from the Settings apps:
1. Open the Settings app
2. Click MoreSettings> VPN.
3. From the top right, click Add VPN +.
4. Enter the information from your network administrator.
5. Click Save.
6. You'll see the VPN listed on the VPN screen.
Connect to a VPN
1. Open the Settings app
2. Click More Settings > VPN.
3. Click the name of the VPN.
