Your hood is supplied as a ducted unit. If you wish to use it as a filter unit, you must install the proper ACCESSORY KIT. Note: Supplied with the hood (not IHT6.5CMIX & IHT6.5SCMIX), the accessory active charcoal filter unit may already be installed.

This version requires an air deflector. a reduction adaptor and the charcoal filter. The top tube must have its air outlet slots uppermost.

Before carrying out any work ensure that the appliance is disconnected from the mains supply. 3. To undertake any dismantling, with the exception of the light bulbs and filter replacement, remove the hood from its location and place on a protected surface.

Whirlpool UK Appliances Ltd Disconnect the wiring to the lamp assembly to be replaced, also remove the cable tie, Fig. 2. Squeeze the tabs either side and push the lamp assembly out, Fig. 3. Whirlpool UK Appliances Ltd In order to remove the motor, the surround may need to be released (six screws) and either pulled forward or after feeding through both cables, lifting to allow space for the removal of the motor. Fig. 13 Reassemble in reverse order.
