Auger-lock indicator (ETS, EWS)
The auger-lock indicator comes on when the engine switch is turned to
''ON'' position, then goes off after starting the engine.
To prevent the auger and/or auger mission, the snowblower stops the
engine and blinks the red auger-lock indicator under following
conditions:
A foreign object (for example: stone) is incriminated in the rotating
auger.
The auger contacts with curbstone.
The auger breaks into hard-packed snow forcibly.
To remove a foreign object, follow the instructions shown in page
When stopping the engine due to over load while plouging or lack of
fuel, the auger-lock indicator comes on.
In this case, remove a load or fill the fuel tank with gasoline to restart
the engine.
To prevent accidental starting while removing a foreign object from
the auger, turn the engine switch to the ''OFF'' position and disconnect
the spark plug cap.
Make sure that all rotating parts are stopped completely before
removing foreign object.
Never put your hand into the snow discharge chute while the engine is
running. Or it can result in serious personal injury.
